A New Luxury Boutique is Coming to Hoboken

Whether you’ve secured a rez at an upscale restaurant, are hitting the town at one of many bars, or are just in the mood to feel yourself (because why not), there’s always a reason to dress up in Hoboken — and now, a new luxury boutique called Lido is arriving on the Hoboken fashion scene. Lido soft-launched at its 632 Washington Street location last week and is slated to have its grand opening this Saturday, December 17th. Started by 22-year-old, born-and-raised Hoboken resident Lexi Pellegrini, the shop will house trendy clothing items, accessories, and chic gifts like Chanel and Gucci candles. Read on for what we know about Lido, the new upscale boutique coming to Hoboken.

The Details

A true Hobokenite, Lexi Pellegrini has lived in Hoboken almost all her life, until heading south to the nation’s capital to study public relations + communications at George Washington University. Now, graduated and back in her hometown, Lexi is using her degree to open an upscale boutique in Hoboken.

Lido soft-launched at its 636 Washington Street location last week, and will celebrate its official opening this Saturday, December 17th. Locals are invited to explore the new space and browse its offerings at 2PM.

According to its website, Lido aims to elevate the shopping experience from a mere transaction to something more meaningful and intimate. A self-described “curated edit for the modern woman,” Lido will offer a chic selection of women’s tops, pants, and dresses — among other things. Though many of these pieces can categorize as “basics,” Lexi described them to HG as “edgy” and “sophisticated” staples that can be worn for any occasion — bossing at work, full glamming on a night out, and anything in between.

The shop also has a range of knitwear, from sweaters and matching sets to cardigans. Fashionable as they are functional, these pieces add a layer of coziness to the Hoboken boutique’s collection, without sacrificing the luxurious vibes. And, in the spirit of this comfy luxury, Lido has Chanel and Gucci bag candles, which will pair well with the shop’s knit pieces (did someone say holiday gift inspo?).

Almost all of the boutique’s items will be sourced from independent designers rather than big-name brands, a choice made strategically by Lexi to support small businesses and curate a unique clothing selection. The shop has a moderate price point, with most items falling between $35-$235. Sizes range from extra-small to large.

The main demographic Lexi expects to shop at Lido is women ages 25-34, though she hopes women in the 35-44 age range will score good finds as well. Ultimately, Lido’s doors are open to anyone looking to feel confident in their clothing.

Lido joins a long roster of boutiques that call Hoboken home. From Alba to aXd and beyond, Washington Street is turning into something of our very own Rodeo Drive.
