Carter, 29, faces up to 12 years upstate below plea agreements he recently reached with prosecutors for attempted robbery and attempted assault.
According to an indictment, the defendant and an unnamed accomplice mugged a girl final April 21.
The pair snatched the victim’s mobile telephone and hurt her with a “dangerous instrument,” specifically, a browsing cart, all through the heist, claimed the indictment.
